Best Review on Breville RM 800JEXL Remanufactured 1000 Watt Extractor
This is my first time with a Juicer, and let me say this one is a pleasure to work with. Cleanup is very easy and quick (just a couple minutes, tops). It assembles and disassembles quickly and juices very fast.
I love the adjustable speed knob in the front of the unit. This allows me to juice softer vegetables and greens.
I find that I can clean it with just hot water for most of the week, then on the weekend clean it with soap and water. This makes it convenient to use during the week.
Overall this juicer is a great value and I would purchase the same one again.
12/6/2012: The juicer is still going strong!
3/20/2013: I'm now selling the juicer at our next garage sale. It still works great, although all the plastic looks like it has a dingy film over it. It just seems now that more pulp is coming out than juice. And to me that just feels like too much waste. It's still a great juicer for the money.
This juicer is a beast. Well built, stainless steel very sturdy. Its remanufactured but it performs like new. Save some money buy this instead of a new one.

BalasHapusThe instruction manual is well written, the whole device weighs 15 pounds or so, and when you turn it on, it spools up like the engine on an F-16. It is mean sounding. And it powers through produce like a metal, herbivorous animal. Honestly, you could juice a steak with this thing.
So, refurb is always dodgy, but it came with a 90 day warranty, which isn't mentioned on the product page. From what I understand, breville makes great products. My last juicer broke when a lemon seed shattered the plastic feed chute-- the breville fells really solid, like the plastic parts are made of Nalgene.
So, a great buy at a 100 dollar savings.
I unashamedly admit I am one who turns for consumer reports for the first line of opinion on most products I purchase. This was not the consumer reports choice for juicing. However, I am glad I chose to look deeper into the topic. My needs were very different than those tested for this review. I needed a heavy duty juicer for everyday three times per day use and the Breville met that need and kept on working. It was not terribly difficult to clean and thanks to my using a plastic bag in the discard bin, it was very convenient to go all day then discard (I actually added my waste to my compost pile).

So I bought this juicer for my wife for a gift. And well I don't use it but I reap the benefits. It makes awesome juice. So when amazon asked me to review this purchase. I asked my wife what she thought about it. And well she gave me the response of Its EFFIN AWESOME! So there you go. And as for some who really only buys quality. I was happy with the way it is made. It's a tank.
