Best Review on Aroma ACJ 181 1 Liter Citrus Juicer

I've been using this blender/juicer for two months now and it has proven to be a real workhorse in the kitchen. I don't do much juicing, but blending we do a lot of -- from homemade smoothies in the summer, to using it to whip up protein drinks after a workout. Everything I've thrown at it so far it has handled with ease!
The unit itself is built very solidly; I am impressed with how sturdy both the base and the blender jar are. Most blenders nowadays have a lightweight jar that I'm scared to death will break if I even so much as drop it. Not this guy -- it has a very thick glassed jar that can take a beating. In fact after I accidentally dropped it on the floor from the counter and it survived I can attest to the fact that 3-4 foot drops are no problem for this little guy!
It basically has just three speeds -- fast, faster and pulse. I find that those three are all I really need anyway. I never saw the point in having tons of speeds -- you are either blending or you aren't, the speed isn't going to matter a whole heck of a lot in most cases.
In the end, I highly recommend it as a great kitchen gadget for your home, or for that perfect wedding/birthday gift for the kitchen lover we all know!

I've made multiple batches of orange juice with this machine. It works great and is easy to clean. You get all of the pulp with very little effort. Just slice and hold on the reamer. It's not a quiet machine but the noise doesn't bother me at all. The hide away cord is also a plus for storage. I prefer this for citrus juice over my juice machine that i use for apple and veggie juicing.
BalasHapusI would definitely recommend this juicer for citrus juicing.
I love making lemonade and many other juices. I have few different juicers, but this one is my favorite for juicing a lemon for lemonade and oranges for orange juice because it keeps the skin away, and very easy to clean
BalasHapusI have very productive grapefruit, orange, and lime trees on my property and this year has been the best ever. This little machine does all it promises to do. I like the pulp so I just remove
BalasHapusthe few seeds I get in the filter and pour in the leftover pulp, filling half gallon bottles of the orange and grapefruit juices without a wimper from this little $15 baby. Cleaning is a snap under the faucet and air drying before I put the machine away. I just wish I hadn't waited so long. Incidently, I have 2 or 3 appliances from Aroma and have had excellent results.
We were pretty impressed with the juicer for the price, and it sure beats squeezing all the lemons by hand. Making lemonade is so much faster and we get a lot more juice with the juicer than by doing it by hand. We found that it is a lot easier with lemons to squeeze them just a tiny bit before you put them on the juicer. It is pretty small and compact, and the only negative is that with lemons several seeds still manage to work their way into the juice in the bottom tank, but you can easily strain them out or scoop them out.
