The Juice Fountain Elite is the first juicer that I have owned and I have had it for about a month now. My juicer appeared brand new and came with its manual and cleaning brush. I find it works well with hard fruits and vegetables (apples, carrots, beets, celery, ginger) and some softer fruits and vegetables (watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers). By "well" I mean that the waste product is dry and I don't feel like I've lost a lot of juice. However, it seems to make a mess of berries and leafy veggies (spinach, cabbage). On the bright side, there are lots of different juice combinations with the fruits and vegetables that do work well in the juicer. In addition, the clean up is easy. Though everything is dishwasher safe, I rarely bother since it is faster just to rinse the parts in the sink. I also like the fact that it is relatively quite. I wouldn't try to carry on a conversation while juicing, but the machine doesn't assault my senses first thing in the morning when I make my breakfast.

BalasHapusWe got into juicing about a year and a half ago. We started with a $70 juicer made by Black and Decker. The unit was made of cheap plastic and the motor was not very powerful. Needless to say, this unit lasted about four months of heavy use.Then we purchased the Breville Fountain Plus (we still use this unit at work). It was like night and day, better materials, a more powerful motor, easier to clean.Then we decide to go top of the line and bought the Fountain Elite. We could not be any happier!
BalasHapusThis unit features a really powerful motor and it is even easier to clean than the Plus model. We especially love the design of the juice jar ( an improvement over the Plus). You can not go wrong with the Fountain Elite, believe me, it is worth every penny! At the Breville web page this model is listed for $299 (price reduced from the original $399!!!)but you can get it much, much cheaper from Amazon.
BalasHapusI researched this product before buying it. I have purchase two other name brand juice extractors before purchasing the Breville Juice Fountain there is no comparison. Breville is outstanding. You get what you pay for. Quality is what it is.
BalasHapusIt's been about a month since a received the factory reconditioned juicer and am very happy with my purchase. Not a scratch on the machine and it juices carrots, beets, ginger, apples, with ease. Clean up is fast and easy, no staining due to the stainless-steel design, other centrifugal juicers (Juiceman) stain quite easily. It's a great product and a good value.
BalasHapusThe reconditioned Breville XX800JEXL juicer came very clean and other than a few minor blemishes appears nearly new. This is one powerful and quick juicer. I like the wide feed tube. Once all the produce is prepared and ready to juice, this works so powerfully that you have a really large amount of juice in a short amount of time. One draw back is that you have to get the tube covered once you add the produce since things can fly out. Just be prepared and keep pushing! The pulp seems very dry which indicates it is efficient. We have had multiple juicers in the past, this is by far the best in time utilization and it is surprisingly easy to clean. The filter cleans up quickly so it is easy to use for large as well as small amounts of juice.

But when I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to have them order it so I would not have to pay the shipping charge they refused to order the item and said I would have to order it on-line. So I found this one on Amazon. The juicer came complete with all the parts. I could not find any reason why this was labeled a reconditioned juicer. I have used it every day since receiving the juicer (about a month) and have not had one problem. This juicer is very easy to use and clean. I did not need the manual to put together because all the pieces only fit one way. The stainless steel looks great on the counter so I do not have to put away in a cabinet. I am very pleased to have purchased this juicer instead of a NEW one for almost double the price.
