Read First Before Buy Juiceman Elite JM211 Juice Extractor

I originally made this comment in response to the reviewer who suggested the blade might somehow put little particles of plastic from the chute into your juice. I think there is enough info here to count as a review:
"I think you must be talking about a different item. This product as a cone-shaped screen flat blade and there is no way you it could curve up to grind away the chute. I have owned this exact model since 2000. 11 years later, I have never changed the blade and never had any problems at all with it. I just found your review because I was wondering how this machine fares with others on the market and wondering if any reviewers might have mentioned the brush it comes with. I lost that metal brush a while ago and have just been using a nylon vegetable brush to clean the blade. I know that the Juiceman booklet it came with said to use metal otherwise I might end up eating tiny bits of plastic with my juice from the nylon brush, but it just doesn't really look like it's a problem. So, your review got my attention based on the title "if you like plastic in your juice."
It doesn't seem like it's ever going to die, so I have a hard time justifying buying a new machine. But, I have no idea what you're talking about here. The only time anything remotely bad that happened to me was one time I put the blade down without the plastic thing underneath and closed up the machine and started to juice. There was a really strong stench of burning plastic immediately and I turned it off and then noticed that I forgot to put that one piece on. Put it on, the problem was solved. But, I really have no idea how the blade could curve up and grind away the chute. The blade is flat and the chute is below the blade where the juice comes out. Where the pulp comes out, there is about 1-2 inches of space from the blade to the top of the chute. There is no chute that could be touched by the blade. "
I replace my old juiceman ,who lasted over 10 years .I like this product and hope this new one last me another 10 years .

BalasHapusI've used the Juiceman Jr for over a year with no problems. It's sturdy and produces dependable results i.e. good juice every time. The clean up isn't bad either. If you're into juicing there's nothing not to like about this product!!!
BalasHapusI've experienced several juicers over the past 10 years, and have come to realize that the motor represents its most vital part. Moreover, the 1/4 hp motor used in the Juiceman Jr. Elite Pro JM211 makes it a superior product that should last one for many years. I estimate that I've made over 500 gallons of juice with mine in its lifetime and the motor does not seem to be showing any signs of let down. A few tips:
BalasHapus1) Always clean the basket with a brush so that fibers will not dry and clog the meshing.
2) Rinse with hot water daily and thoroughly clean weekly. Better to clean less frequently than to have another excuse for not making the juice!
3) Avoid things like cantaloupe rinds and parsley when the blade begins to dull. Although buying a new blade is usually not necessary, it will help to do so every year if you plan to juice things with tough fibers.
4) Always unplug the juicer before taking it apart for cleaning.

BalasHapusI am extremely glad I bought this juicer. The technology has come a LONG way from the juicing clunkers that first emerged in the 1980s. This one is simple to operate and, considering its function, easy to clean (you need a brush for the juicing basket). I use it every day now. My wife and I will soon turn orange from all the carrot juice we're ingesting.Buy It, and Enjoy !
BalasHapusI was very skeptical about juicing and received this as a gift. I found that this juicer very easy to use and clean. You can even wash the accessories in the dishwasher. My energy level has increased dramatically after using my juicer and I don't know how I ever got along without it! I definitely recommend this juicer to a beginner who would like to try out adding juices to their diet.

I dropped the Juiceman Jr. on the floor and a piece of the top broke off. I can't find any place that sells replacement parts.
