I paid $50 for this at WalMart and I can't praise it enough. If you want to try juicing and you want a powerful yet affordable machine, this is the product for you. Do all the research I did - compare prices, performance reviews, and product specs - and you will see that this product has all the power and features of machines that cost almost double the price, yet it's priced for the average consumer.
The 800 watt motor works like a dream; the newer Hamilton Beach models are being marketed as having 1.1 horsepower motors but this is just a marketing trick - 800 watts is the equivalent of 1.1 horsepower. Make sure you read labels and product IDs carefully - there was a seemingly identical product right next to the one I bought that was the same price but was slightly larger and only had a 450 watt motor. When it comes to a juicer that works well, you need power, not size.
One thing I must mention is that the instructions encourage you to soak the mesh basket/filter in hot soapy water immediately after use to make cleanup easier. The fact is that this should not be a suggestion but a requirement. Grainy-textured fruits and vegetables (apples, pears, potatoes) leave behind sand-like residue on the basket that is very difficult to clean if you do not soak it in hot water. But if you do soak, clean up is a breeze. And the handy brush that comes with the product is perfect.
Try juicing - it will change your life. And buying this product is the best place you can start.

Excellent product for the money. If you're getting into juicing and don't want to spend a ton of money, this is the way to go.

BalasHapusI like to include Spinach in my Vegetable juices and none of the other Juicers would do that for me except this one.
I am very pleased and hope to be juicing for many years to come. Cleanup isn't too bad once you get a routine going. If you clean right after you finished juicing, it is no trouble at all. Also found easy to disassemble and reassemble.

I became a vegetarian 3 months ago and this is my first juicer. After researching for a juicer I decided on the Hamilton Beach 67600 and I'm so glad that I did! It works wonderfully and so easy to clean!

You want juice, you got it! I also noticed that it made alot of juice and very little pulp. This juicer is great for a first time buyer, that wants a good reliable juicer put doesn't want to pay an arm and a leg for one! This juicer is a great way for you to consume all your fruits and vegs. And clean ups a breeze (as long as you clean the parts right away)! I would recommend this juicer to everyone!!! BalasHapusI received this thing so freakin quick you wouldn't believe it. It works very well and the little brush that comes with it makes the chopper thing easy to clean. I feel like I'm getting so many more nutrients when I use it. It also comes with little recipes that probably taste way better than the stuff I make. Never put something like an avocado in it tho; its too mushy and just makes a thick glop that prevents any juice from flowing out into the cup. Use a blender for that.
BalasHapusAfter using three different brands of juicers through the years, I read several reviews on various other juicers as well as the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer. I discovered that the size of the motor was important to maximum juice extraction amd minimum juice left in the pulp. The big feed shute was also attractive to me. This juicer is the best one I've had!
